The Day Today and Brass Eye's main constant was Chris Morris, and also Armando Ianucci. Very similar formats, The Day Today came first, and then Brass Eye on C4 when BBC refused to commission it. I love both, but prefer Brass Eye as I think it's the most consistently hilarious. At times, it's totally outrageous. ****ing brilliant it is. But both are. Chris Morris is a comedy genius, a hero of mine and a total mystery too. Very reclusive bloke. Which makes him more interesting to my mind.
