Think you're being a bit unfair on Rio. Maybe Roy Hodgson did want him there at the Euros. Maybe he was just out every time Roy tried to get hold of him, you know, like he was when the Drugs Testers tried to find him.

Pretty damn realistic, that^^^^. Much as I can't stand JT, I've got no time for the other three, either.

It's all a load of bollocks. It's probably true that Terry did say what he was accused of but why the **** is it such a problem? I mean really, what about caling someone black and a **** is really so hurtful. Anton wasn't a slave, he might have had an ancestor who was but it makes **** all difference. Why is he allowed to have a go at Terry about an alleged affair if Terry can't have a go back? Either way it's 'abuse' but people only care when it's race related. The obsession with racism in this country is ridiculous. This was petty name calling that hurt no one, not apartheid, slavery or the holocaust. Those events were genuine racial problems, calling someone a black **** is not.

    Rant over.

i totally agree , i dont really want to get into the discussion on a footy forum , but i think this sort of action dilutes the true meaning of Racism . .
As a white bloke i find myself feeling i live in a far more tolerant society than one i was in in the 80s as a young kid - its a total transformation (from my white blokes eyes)
To me racism is what whent on then and before , not soppy name calling that is merely descriptive , i would find the term "Choc Ice" to be far more demeaning , intolerant and ignorant .
For a black feller to label another black person "Choc Ice" is to compound a difference in races when us poor bastards are just trying to get along .

Infact the more i think about the term Choc ice when used or condoned by another black person the more i feel its worse than white on black verbal racism
