I understand most of that. I don't doubt that these things might be comforting, and I suspect that's often a reason why they 'happen'. It's very similar to religion in that sense. I don't think though, that the possibility of an actual physical existence of a ghost/spirit even deserves serious debate. I disagreed with you saying that BCC thought it was ridiculous simply because it wasn't his view. That's what devout religious people say to their doubters and it always irritates me a bit. People are entitled to hold these views (like any view that doesn't affect others), but they need to be able to accept that it's no more valid than any fairy tale and people are going to find it ridiculous.
I can't be arsed to read anymore of this thread because it's just crackpot heaven. But what you say about dimensions, I watched a documentary recently about astronomers trying to find a way to prove there are different dimensions as it's the only logical way to explain some space phenomena. On the subject of ghosts, if they exist it'd be far easier to prove they do exist than they don't. How can you prove something doesn't exist?
I know I said I wasn't reading a more of this thread but I decided to. You call that a list of rational people? Christ almighty, no wonder you see ghosts, you're a frigging lunatic!
Let's end this once and for all. The TV series Most Haunted has run for 12 years now. During this time they've visited the most haunted places in the UK, with truckloads of "ghost"-hunting technology, and accompanied by various "experts" in the field, following up all manner of reports of ghostly sightings. You'd think that if anyone was going to capture one on film it would be these guys. But they never have. Not one of the ****ers. Get real, eh?
My son had a teacher who taught RS and Biology, in the RS lessons he told them the stuff he was teaching them in Biology wasn't true.
You spelt condescending right this time. Well done. You obviously failed to notice I didn't stoop to pettiness and point it out previously, but if you're going to be like that.
A mate of mine from Beverley was playing guitar for them for a while, I'm not sure if they're still going now, as I believe the singer and guitarist(who were married) split up.
I was going to, but as all the lads seemed to believe what they were taught in Biology and thought that RS was simply a waste of an hour a week, it didn't seem all that important. He's not there now anyway, he was abducted by aliens. Probably Party's lizardy ones.
If the reptilians did a scan of the human body, they'd think we were just a vehicle for other cells. 90% of the cells in our body are non-human.
They do do that, the lizards. Thoughts are with him, at this difficult time. Up in Lizard Land* *Different to 'Lizard Lounge'.
I'd love to have met the producers who decided that Yvette Fielding was a suitable host for that show. As soon as theirs a creeky door or somebody tapping their foot, she ****s herself and screams. And don't get me started on Derek Acorah, he should have stuck to football. Although I did catch Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel, it's fun to watch, genuinely creepy and if nothing else, puts the willies right up my missus. Which saves me a job.
All you need to know about Derek Acorah. http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/spooky-truth-tvs-most-haunted-563082 Although it didn't stop someone I know insisting it's all real
One of my besties loves Derek and Yvette. She has even been to See Derek live. I don't judge her harshly though. It's up to the individual.
The lying **** Derek "Johnson" didn't see this coming, did he? http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/derek-acorah-car-crash-tv-3019178
