A similar game is in creation though.

It's being made by players from FML but is still 12 months from being ready though

It was easy previously. You just put the ball to the near post where your best header(jumping stat) was. Put all other players to either the far post or outside the area and you could get 40 goals a season.

They have changed it now though and you cannot put all players to the same position for corners. Its a good fix.

Just bought the game yesterday and I've only made two signings because of wages. Brought in Toni Silva from Liverpool and Michael Woods after impressing on trial. Currently unbeaten in the league:

    (H) 1-1 Reading (Cairney Pen)
    (A) 4-1 Port Vale (CC) (Simpson x2, Cooper, Koren)
    (A) Cardiff 2-1 (Simpson, King)
    (H) West Ham 1-0 (Koren)
    (A) Coventry 0-0

Josh King is excellant for me. Keeps setting up goals :D

I find on the update for 2012, City are much stronger. I play 4-3-3 with 2 inside forwards and a complete forward upfront. The first season was a piece of piss, spend barely any money. Steffen Hagen (Odd, 100k) is now team captain and worth 3m. Matt James came in from Man U on loan as cover for McKenna, who kept getting tired. Stewart for some reason wasn't getting in the team (weird that) so I bought Joe Cardle from Dunfermline, pretty decent and chipped in a few goals. Got promoted and got bought by a Russian Oil tycoon. Sitting 10th in our first season in the PL.

They've bollocksed that up then, every time I see them play he makes Stewart's current form look like Ronaldo's.

I wouldn't get your hopes up for that game.......

I loved FML to, i agree that people hated losing and thats one of the reasons it failed. However i don't think any of us could deny the marketing was piss poor in every country bar our own. Yet the scheme of inviting a friend was awful to, if they made it worthwhile in game, where you got a little bonus of some sort i am sure many of us would of signed up. I just can't play FM the same anymore, as i was one of those was a huge youth team fan in FMLive, and i saw huge returns from it. As it allowed me to win in youths, yet lose in seniors and still build for long the term. Nothing will ever replace it, ever. What gameworld where you in?

To be fair, they bollocks a fair few things up. I fail miserably without Cairney in the team on FM12 - He usually gets about 8 goals and 25 assists. Oh, and Koren is a bag of ****.

I've got FM11 and I sometimes have to put my laptop back to factory settings. What i'd like to know is, can I save my game so I can reload it again and carry on my game? I don't mean the standard way of saving ingame. I get a few seasons played then it gets totally wiped along with everything else.

    It's a file same as any other. Documents> Sports Interactive> Football Manager 20** > Games > There's the file.
Just put it on a memory stick if literally every file you have gets deleted.
