Pasted me mates on it already.

Anybody remember when City were first on FIFA? The designers had made massive faults and had made Jason Price white and Ben Burgess black. Brilliant.

<laugh> yeah, FIFA 04.. legend. That was back in the day when you had 'points' to spend as a transfer budget instead of money and had a limit of bids per week <doh>

Can't get enough of Fifa 12, its great.

Started my season with City, and I think the ratings are spot on other then Rosenoir.

Chester is quality on it as well! Well chuffed!

Really? Chester's terrible for me. Only 66 overall so expected I guess. Rosenior should be about 71 though.

Found some random centre-half called Wynne, one of the top 4 fastest players on the game, we should get him in real life! <laugh>

I think the detail will always get better, considering they only have year to improve it each time, they do brilliantly!

I find the defending really tricky. Improved but hard.

Ahh yes, Marvell Wynne. Some call him the worst defender in the history of the US national team. He'd be perfect for those that thought Sonko just wasn't quite ****ty enough! <laugh>

<laugh> He's actually pretty good on the game, only because of his pace. He can run the length of the pitch before the opposition striker can even think about shooting.

Didn't know he was supposedly so bad in reality though, or I wouldn't have said anything.

I just tried to sign him in the January 2013 transfer window, and apparently he'd rather play out his contract with Caleb Folan's Colorado Rapids. He's one of those fairly stereotypical American players, the sort with great athletic ability and fitness and is totally crap at playing the game.

Ike Opara is a good defender to sign from San Jose Earthquakes. He's younger than Wynne, pretty cheap, and improves over time. CB with speed of 81 = <ok>

Whatever happened to that Pro Club we set up with Norwich fans on FIFA 11? It was a good laugh for a few days until everyone buggered off.

I started two career modes. One with City and signed this guy called Lewis as a free agent. He's a 77 rated goalkeeper who wants peanuts for wages, Michael Owen, Leandro or something, he's a 73 rated centre half and mannone. I was going to go for a striker but created a virtual pro instead. My other one is man city, sold all the deadwood and brought in Lloris, Hummels, Hazard and Neymar. I simmed the community shield againt Man Utd and won 5-2. I'm fairly happy with the squad I have now.

Shame they put in the away kit before the cash convertor sign was changed, slightly annoying.

FIFA is totally different nowadays. It's surprising that so many people still love it when you think about it.

The old games and the new games were and are all fun, but in totally different ways.

The newer versions are all about improving realism and making it a challenge, ie finishing 10th as City like I did in my first season (Legendary difficulty) But it's still thrilling, fun and exciting.

The older ones were more of a laugh.. the ps1 versions were you tapped triangle constanly to sprint and took on their whole team with your keeper <laugh>

Or Fifa 2002 when if you just hold down square from kick off you could score from 60 yards <laugh>

I was quite annoyed about that too. Was surprised to see Waghorn in the team and Stewart is slightly rapid, which just reminds me how close we are to having him back. Also Messi has been knocked down a peg since 11, not sure if anyone else has noticed.

On the BF3 vs MW3 debate, if you have an xbox flash it and get 20 blank DL DVDs for half the price, then pick 20 games :D
