It was quite an entertaining game, defensively we were poor, right back is a worry defensively, Johnson is OK going forward, but defensively poor. Rossy would do a better job defensively. Attacking wise we look bright, and it was good to see the young guns running at the defence with pace.
Has James Milner got something on Hodgson? ....I've said it before and I'll say it again he's crap...Not matter what position he plays in he always ends up giving some poor bloke a hospital pass. If Milner gets in the side then forget it..He shouldn't be within a thousand miles of Brazil.
I don't understand the abuse Milner gets, I think he's a very good player, he's not a right back everyone knows that. But he brings a lot to a team I think, his work rate and he can put a really good ball in the box and also helps out defensively. I think he deserves to be in the squad.
Erm......cough....one Curtis Davies but sadly for CD the clueless Woy did not fancy him. He prefers the kids. Ok Ok. Having viewed the full game now it was a better watch. Going forward we were good but that defence looked liked Fulhams backline to me. Luke Shaw (the golden one we are told) is not ready and it showed. John Stones is another who should be away with the England U21's but given the chance from the start of the 2016 euro qualifiers. Have said it a few times now, If anything happens to Gary Cahill England are up sh.it creek big time. I bet Suarez for one cannot wait. Agreed John. Both Rosie and Davies would do better. The fact that Ashley Cole was rejected for Luke Shaw is beyond belief. Woy has no Plan B for anything sadly. A few of them must have looking at the squad that has been picked. As for James Milner he can fill in a few positions but as you say is not a starting full back. imo, at least 4 of them should not be within a 1000 miles of Brazil.
