Proud over the team today We have a tendency to make everything as hard as possible though! It's gonna be a tough play-off game whoever we meet. Faroe Islands away(Were down 1-0 and scraped a 2-1 comeback win) Germany away (Down 4-0 and in some astonishing way scratched our way back to 4-4) Ireland away (Down 1-0 early on but turned the ship around and got a 2-1 win) Austria home (Down 1-0, but managed to get an equaliser before Ibra slots it home in the 86th minute Also close to a comeback against Austria away, being down 2-0. The 2-1 goal today which pretty much gave us a spot for the play-offs Kim Källström....sign him up Bruce Need someone with that kind of deliveries! Wouldn't deny Ibra either
Not if Greece win the next game and Bosnia don't. Level on points. It's unlikely, but could still happen. It was a cut and paste job anyways.
You think there's going to be an eighteen goal swing...? That's not unlikely, it's impossible. Now change it
You don't get the fact that they are level on points, do you? If Greece win and Bosnia don't, Greece finish with 25pts and Bosnia with either 22 or 23pts... So no, I won't change it. There. I do hope Greece get ****ed over though. Can't stand them. The international equivalent of Stoke.
Oh... My source was lying to me. I've had it open since early this evening and it had only updated Bosnia's result, so I thought they were three points ahead... You're going to get a rare thing now, Macca, and that's an apology from Erik Eriksen () I definitely don't have my fingers crossed. Honest. Bastard. Sorry. Twatcuntfuckingbastardweaselfacedmongprick.
Well someone posted a quote from Roy that he was choosing someone from the U21 setup. Who else from the U21s is in better form? Henderson? Shelvey? Ward-Prowse? What about a surprise call up for Will Hughes of Derby? He's been very, very good. I've been very good friends with a West Ham supporting mate since University. He told me that Morrison has been superb for them in the games he's seen. The debate is pointless. Whoever is called up will not play.
Hodgson redeemed himself in my eyes last night, thats the sort of approach and team selection that I like to see. I would rather lose playing with some attacking intent than suffer a team of Cleverleys and Milners blocking the opposition. I watched Gerrard closely last night and I still don't think he will stand up to a tournament of several close games together, maybe he can be used 'sparingly'. Nothing wrong with him in a one off game. Fingers crossed he (Hodgson) doesn't go negative again v Poland and pick Milner to combat the likes of their winger Jakub Unspellable because of Walker being out.
With Walker being a more attack-minded full back comapred to Jones/Smalling, I think that'd give more reason not to play Milner.
Gerrard wasn't as good as he has been recently last night. A few of his deliveries weren't up to his usual standards. He's usually a lot better though.
For a team that scored four goals our shooting was terrible last night. First half especially. Scuffed shots, weak shots on target, others blazed high and wide. Townsend apart our shooting was crap in the second half too but 'sniffer Rooney', a penalty and a 'bet you couldn't do that again' own goal rather papered over the cracks.
Hope so. Bialkowsovski (stab in the dark at that name, not googled it) is an awesome winger though (the Dortmund player) so he might get scared with the tactics again which would be a shame.
