Corned beef cob with melted cheese on one bit of bread and a nice pate on the other, both with real butter underneath, sounds rank but its ****ing mint, you should try it.

Now I'm going to tell you something right now that wont be very popular but I used to work in a meat/ commercial butchers factory when I first came to the states and we marinated beef brisket in a chilled room for about three weeks in
a very salty brine before St Patricks day. Then we sent it all out to restaurants for paddys day and they cooked it up with cabbage, potatoes and carrots and onions into a kind of stew. That stuff was fantastic its kind of like a salty steak very very tender full of flavor very filling and great for dipping your bread into the juice too.
Now I'm no big supporter of St Patricks day of course but if you ever find yourself over here at that time of year especially in Boston or New York then try the corned beef and cabbage it is fantastic!

But surely when making corned beef hash its better been mushy as. It's easier too mash into the mash!!!

On a separate point why are the tins such a stupid shape? It makes no sense. Are the argies just getting us back. It hurts like a bastard getting a cut off one, or even worse there's no key on the bottom when you get it home, that's a real bastard. Out with the tin opener.

The original advice referred to when eating it 'raw', I'm not sure that's the correct terminology at all.

To reiterate, if you're making a corned dog banjo then it has to be refrigerated, anyone who says different are talking out of their arse holes.

Aye, and they kept feeding us it endlessly after that. It's the Devil's food, make no mistake! Corned Dog with powdered potatoes and beans, just not lush.
