Sure, well by and large (your champagne socialists excluded) those on the left don't have a great deal to redistribute, so I imagine it would be fairly natural to seek to redistribute resources where they are concentrated. There's a whole raft of variables surrounding the history of the appropriation and expropriation of property - and the concept of 'property' itself - one could get into but that's a whole other debate. Redistribution and concentration are necessarily eternal poles in political economy though, in a similar manner to the boom/bust cycle. You can't have one without the other. That's why I don't have political party affiliation - the bastards exist symbiotically.
