I think Jeremy Clarkson and Piers Morgan are both dickheads. However, Jeremy Clarkson supports our brave lads in the armed forces and does his part for charitable organisations whereas Piers Morgan once smeared British soldiers in Iraq by publishing false images of them, plus he has a smug, self-centred look about him that makes you want to twat him. I'm surprised people on here like Stewart Lee, I always thought of him as a talentless champagne socialist that just complained about the establishment.
I dont. I'm surprised anyone who can walk and talk would like the brainless, lets celebrate our oafishness bum gravy that is Top Gear but there you go: "oh look at this car. Lets blow up a caravan. Buses smell. Ey Hamster, tell us about your crash despite the fact you repeatedly said you'd never talk about it again. Oh look at how slow he drives...." repeat ad infinitum.
Well it's not is it considering I didnt post the first link about him or indeed say he was my favourite comedian as others did. But other than that, good point well made.
Sorry, I forgot, how can the simple-minded proles ever have the intellectual depth to compete with a seasoned Guardian columnist?
Top Gear tries too hard these days. Too formulaic. Too clichéd. Stewart Lee is actually very good. The trick is to stop thinking of him as a comedian, because he isn't very funny. Think of him as that bloke in the pub who everyone tries to avoid, but he's cornered you and bought you a pint and is now talking to you about ****e. Listen and look interested and there's more ale in it for you. It's worth it, isn't it. Clarkson? Lee? Meh. Neither of them are Frankie Boyle. There is a man who knows how to insult.
It's too bad Boyle has been seemingly banned from TV now. He's hardly ever on anything. Mock The Week used to be superb when he was around. Now it's ****.
My favourite FB joke: Blur. A cheese making ****; a New Labour ****; a fake cockney ****; and a ****.
Rather simplistic and blinkered view. Suspect Clarko knew what he was doing. The other week it was 'slope' this week it's '******'. Except he uses them in a context where they are not used angrily or aggressively, but in a different neutral context like a kids' nursery rhyme. Bored journalists and knee-jerk liberal 'spokespersons' fall for it everytime. I be he pisses himself each time they fall for it
The Mirror have only jumped on this because Clarkson is one of the few remaining Murdoch employees they can't laugh at while they squirm in court. Move along, nothing to see here...............
The Mirror started it, now The Guardian and the BBC are drawing it out. I've seen the video and there's absolutely nothing in it, it's not even deserving of a story.
Only this thick **** could think that there's an acceptable way to use that word What a dick you really are. And for the record I'm not a liberal, neither am I a narrow minded half wit. As for Clarkson? Without doubt the most unfunny man on TV, how anyone can watch the cretin is beyond me. Never trust a man who wears double denim. Ever. Apart from Johnny Cash.
