As a few of you will know I don't follow England but everyonea been banging on about Rooneys goal so I thought I'd watch the highlights. What I don't get is why Rooneys deflected goal is the main talking point over Chamberlains? Rooneys was lucky via deflection whereas Chamberlains was technically brilliant, 20 yards on the volley and had to put it exactly where he did otherwise he wasn't gonna score. I'm with Suarez, the Brittish press are idiots.
Completely agree. Shrek has his first good England game in donkeys years (and he was still pretty mediocre) and the press still feel the need to restart the Rooney ****athon. The Ox's goal was fantastic; Rooney's only went in because of a huge stroke of good fortune
