O/T Blatter on racism in football

    If you seriously think kids playing football are going to 1) pay enough attention to this to take it on board or 2) start racially abusing people because of what Blatter said, you're deluded.

    I dont recall seeing an upsurge in kids visiting prossies after Rooney's escapades with them, nor did I see any upsurge in young kids cheating with their mates girlfriends, or playing more aggressively, or drinking more etc etc etc

    They don't emulate their idols let alone a cretin like Blatter, so get the **** off the high horse. The best way to deal with arseholes like Blatter is to take the piss, nothing else will make any difference at all.

    The daft thing is he is denouncing any initiatives employed in the game to kick racism out of it, something you would expect the world football giverning body to be promoting. He's making a mockery out of the game and those who follow it and play it. It's hardly setting the right example when the bloke at the top is rubbishing the issue. Like Graham Taylor said on the beeb, this could well be the straw that breaks the camels back with Blatter.
