This week I've been devouring the NME's "official, definitive and last of it's kind" top 500 albums of all time - headed by The Smith's phenomenal "Queen Is Dead". I've got a pretty vast music collection but have been startled by just how few of the list I actually own so I'm busy topping up my IPod this week.

First ones I'm listening to for the first time are 'Loveless' by My Bloody Valentine (#18) and 'Horses' by Patti Smith (#12). Both are brilliant, particularly Patti Smith - her cover of Van Morrison's 'Gloria' is out of this world!
