100% agree with you there. I've quite often buttered some bread up to mop up gravy etc, but never thought of making a sarnie out of leftovers, and I look forward to trying that too!
Sliceof thickly buttered sliced white bread. A couple of slices of fresh cooked ham. fresh cockles (No viengar) more ham, Second slice of bread. Cutting a sandwich is naff, corner to corner or straight. Eat it in one go, eat the corners first then the middle (I had to do that when I was little or I never ate the crusts and got a clip. I used to eat this sandwich when my daugther was 3 years old and she started nicking them. She is over 32 now and still makes them herself.
