    true with chelsea but it pissed off the real madrid fans and the milan ones too if i remember correctly

    Can't imagine the Inter fans were that disappointed with their historic treble and Real fans were singing his name during the recent classico.

    I meant he learnt about deflecting from the team...jose and ferguson were the best at it

    Was probably pushed by people higher up to make that statement in order appease the fans and smooth relations.

    I tend to agree with Durham (for once) in that it was a cowardly statement because he wouldn't have said it if the result had been different.

    Huge win for Spurs as it keeps them alive in all competitions and they now have a fantastic opportunity to reach the semis. Not sure they're capable of beating Chelsea/City/United over two legs so if the other sides could produce upsets it would help their cause. In a one off game their chances against any of the top four sides would be far higher.

    I have no doubt that's what happened. Let's be honest though, watching them for 90mins would put anyone to sleep.
