No-one's right or wrong. It's opinions and all that. But I went to Roker with a black Arsenal mate and the abuse he got shocked me. And that was from some ordinary looking fans, not skinheads or owt. They just had it in their heads. You start on muslims or jews, or white immigrants like poles or irish and you put something in people's heads that says "different" and what comes out in their attitude might not be very nice.

The reason this child abuse went on so long is because the authorities feared they'd have the 'racist' card pulled on them for interrogating a bunch of Asian (Arabs, let's not insult the 3 Billion others) suspects. I think the further south you go, the more Eastern European these gangs become, but in the North it's predominantly Arabs (Called 'Brits' by the media so they don't offend them). Manchester's problems are not gonna go away with a pen and an election, the city is full of decay that needs action not words to clean it up.
Suppose it is the Muslims, as long as you ignore all the others that abuse/ exploit children too. Children in care have been exploited by abusers for years ..... not just since Muslims came to this country. British males have been using child prostitutes aboard for years as well. I agree that this country has a problem with foreign males in gangs exploiting our children ..... but it is too simplistic to just blame Muslims & pretend we don't have plenty of our own home-grow *****philes

We we're specifically (well I thought so anyway) talking about the gangs around Manchester Minxy It's not turned into a national issue. Nobody is saying there's no *****philes around the country other than Muslims, but there's been two or three of these gangs shut down in Gtr Manchester and Yorkshire lately and it's no secret of the origins of the offenders. Like I said in my initial response (more so if people are refused their right to vent their anger), the days of vigilante groups taking matters like this into their own hands, can only be around the corner. It's inevitable, the media wants it and the media usually gets exactly what it asks for.

Nobody is saying it's not a national issue but the subject of the thread was specific to Greater Manchester. A wild stab in the dark as to why it's not being cleaned up... Do we have the budget to deal with them? Each deportation can cost up to hundreds of thousands of pounds, so maybe if they can pretend they don't know it's happening, then the authorities might just get away with employing another 700,000 office staff who can manipulate stats to make them look like they're doing a grand job
I agree that recently highlighted cases have shown male Muslim involvement but equally other groups have been prosecuted as well ..... & children are trafficked around the country so it becomes hard to not think of it as a national issue
