    Good on you BMB. We have an animal shelter here on the Island which I support and it does a lot of great work for injured and abandoned animals. I can't fathom the kind of mentality that inflicts neglect and sometimes unbelievable cruelty on these poor things. Sarah McLachlan who lives near here does some wonderful TV commercials on behalf of mistreated animals...hard to watch them without shedding a tear. Keep up the good work mate!

    Maximum punishment for batricide is a £5000 fine (per bat) or 6 months in prison.


    Would you still be able to Mod from a prison cell?

    I've been to see the other bats and it turned out it had a terminal illness and was in a lot of pain, so it was actually a mercy killing.
