It consisted of a few words in the middle of an article about Sammy Lee leaving Liverpool. In fact Birmingham buying a guy called Rooney for Inverness got more column inches!!!

If he was demanding 65k per week then the correct decision has been made. He's a very, very good footballer but not in that bracket. Kranjcar, Jarvis (thought he was left footer) or this lad Honda (bet hes got a good motor in him) would be alternatives. I can only remember bits about Honda to be fair from the WC 2010 so it would be a bit of a gamble for me. I still say put a bid in for Johnson. City are buying players like bags of sweets again and AJ will just be a bit part player next season. At the SOL he would be an automatic starter. 15m anyone?
