As I stated, no preaching here. Iv got a backlogue of videos to watch myself because, as you said, the xbox dominates my free time. 11 days of (what could have been productive time) MW2 played <doh> i need to sort it out

Barclays have already fitted my chip in my hand, i can pay for things like an oyster card. BEEP....... It does have a tracking device but so does my phone.... The devil gets a bad rap, i find the word BEAST insulting ......<grr>

Of course it is a tool of distraction, as is the new celebrity culutre that infests the media, and strange intra-country divisions created through the distraction of sport etc. Just try and be mindful of their purpose and enjoy them for what they are and not get too sucked into them

Over the past few years we've been seeing more and more threads concerning XBox 360 videogames causing deaths, serious assaults, murders, mayhem, and causing kids to turn queer! From the ultra-violent "Grand Theft Auto", to the ludicrously named "Halo" (There is NOTHING Angelic about that Satanic piece of trash!)

This got me to thinking, what if it's not the games turning these kids into violent psychopaths - what if it's the game console itself???

I finally unlocked the Echo special ops missions last night (I don't play online) after much huffing and puffing. I was very disappointed: only 3 missions, 2 of them dominated by Juggernauts <grr>

They are all tools of distraction. The garbage celeb culture is quite a recent phenomenon and really is a hugely successful tool for use in burying important news and issues from the populous. Really like, what significance does the John Terry scandal actually hold. On that note, people devote so much time to their teams that most wont stray off the sports pages over something that, again, really carries no big significance in the big picture of things.

Got very sick of the Juggernaught spec ops missions on solo (the airplane boneyard one was the last straw) so basically just concentrating on multiplayer
