That is excellent, kid on the banjo is a takent
One of my more eloquent replies, probably what I should stick to.
Two to go.
In percentage terms, 85% of the teams in the league can no longer claim the title with 11 games to go
I'd say 95%
I'd say 85%, because that's correct.
Something about chickens, eggs and hatching
The chickens have hatched, are fully grown, and they're laughing at Pep for being such a pathetic cheating fraud
What Astro said
We celebrate when its mathatically ours
I've been celebrating since Christmas!
And, despite the efforts of the derail crew, the mathematics of it was what this thread was meant to be about so -foregone conclusion though it may be, 85% is correct.
Although, if one wants to be a true pedant (heaven forfend) we could say that we aren't part of the calculation as we can't catch up with ourselves. So it's more like 89. something or other%
But I wouldn't say that.
He never said catch us though, he's said 85% can't win the league
Each team is 5% (100/20=5). So techincally only 15% can win the title this season, 85% can't.
I sit corrected.
The thread is about listing who can't catch us, #readthetitle not about who can win the league, and there are only 19 teams qualifying for that distinction.
In the first part of my reply to Roger, I stated that he was correct, the second part was an observation regarding the strict meaning of the thread.
Roughly 89.6% then
Reduced to 19 teams, each team is worth 5.2% (roughly)
