I would have taken a draw beforehand. Watford have been awesome in patches this season so I had this down for a regulation 2-0 loss, so to get something out of today is a good result.

Credit to you guys - good goal and for most of the game held out pretty easily.

We did nick one in the end but you certainly deserved a point.

Rondon and Diame were very good.

Yet another goal conceded to a header. We are woeful at positioning for crosses.. Hope Fernandez is going to be Ok and back in place of Lascelles who is worse by the game.

For all you stats guys. Can anyone tell me how many times Perez ends up on his arse during the match? Whenever he plays he seems more on the floor than on his feet, and what a whinger.
I cannot fathom Rafa out, stated after that game that Sean Longstaff had a good 20 mins and needs to get him more involved then proceeds to not even put him on the bench. The guy is a lot better player than either Hayden or Perez.

Flashbacks of the Bournemouth game last season. Hands on his knees watching them score.

I don’t think it was a great decision by Rafa to introduce Shelvey into this game.
The three points were so important and Shelvey has had a long layoff because of injury.
He couldn’t really have been very match fit and his rustiness showed as he switched off for their equaliser.
No not a great decision by the gaffa.

Injured and also overrated to begin with. The midfield was doing fine without him. It was also doing fine with Ki stepping in. Pity he is gone now.

I know it won’t happen, but l for one would swap Shelvey for Cairney.
Having seen what Ki brings to the team, it shows how one dimensional Shelvey is.

Watched part of first half and all of 2nd half and actually thought we played pretty well. Thought Diame and Rondon were very good and Ritchie also put in a very good shift but was badly at fault on the goal for allowing too much time for the cross. We actually had plenty of the ball by our standards in the 2nd half and could have nicked another goal with a bit more quality up front.

    Good to see Shelvey back.
