our players 'paper' value will be massive compared to SAFC I'd reckon.

If you had to compare the sides on how much they paid, and how much they are worth now, we would beast Sunderland in that department. To pick out a few-
    Krul- 15m
    Cabaye- 12-15m
    Tiote - 20m+
    Ben Arfa- 9m
Ba 10m+ (could be more, could be less depending on 'release fee')
Santon 9m+ (will probably be more as he keeps improving)

there's more aswell but they are the main ones I think.

The only player Sunderland could really get a good return on is Sessegnon, who they could get 10-12mil for

They would make a profit on Larsson and Westwood; maybe 5 and 3 million respectively and Mclean at a couple of million.
I'd put Sessegnon at £9m tops. The rest are drops in value, so however they cobble together a squad of 11 at £40m, £30m cost whatever, the return is in negative figures. We on the other hand are on a profit. I hate to say it but pat on the back for Mr Ashley. I'll reserve apologies until 1st September though.
