And when does this failure happen in terms of time frame. I’m not going to say if we get relegated because we could win 1/3 of our games and still get relegated. The honeymoon is over. The Howe love fest is over. The time for results is next game and NO excuses. None.
I don't think it's a definable period of time at the moment. A lot would depend in the manner of a relegation or the manner of the promotion attempt if we are relegated. If we're not then it would be based on how well his team performs and gels once players come in to replace the weaknesses we have (more than one window). Out of interest, what would you do. If you were made chairman right now, what would you do about Eddie Howe?
We’ll just have to agree to disagree then. I don’t think he’s a “Pep” but he’s much better than Bruce. The new players will improve things simply because they will be of better quality. I don’t think Howe is the long term answer but he is the short term answer as he is the manager. We need to get behind the team and Club and trust the new owners to get it right.
I would say to him that the results are not what I was expecting and when the investment for the players happens and if there are no improvements then your days are numbered. I would also suggest that he starts playing players in their right positions.
I also wanted a swift exit, and playing the kids would have avoided much embarrassment. Unless this is a master ploy by Howe to show how crap the team is and force through more transfers.
Just gone back to the tram line up and I still don’t know how we started - was it 433? I mean I don’t know how many times you need to play Krafth at CB or Ritchie at LB before you work out there’s problems.
From his pre and post match comments I don’t think so. Howe is getting worse every week. He’s put so much on Watford we’re almost certainly going to lose.
Fair enough. I don't think that's a definite yet. It depends who comes in and how we play. Our position is already dire and even playing well from here on in survival isn't certain. It depends what other clubs do. There is also the issue of what manager we would get to manage us in the championship who would be willing to come to a championship team that was better than Howe.
No I said after the transfer window which I think leaves 15 games. If we ain’t improved after the transfer window then he has no excuse by the end of the season. I won’t blame relegation on him. I will blame him for us not improving.
