Got to rest our best players we are not good enough to win a cup so theres no point in pressing self destruct .

I think that wine must have been off, Ben. If you are still saying he can play when you wake up tomorrow then consult your GP.
I mean unregistered players can play, I'm certainly not saying he should!
I know we've said we are going for the cups but can't see a good reason not to rest the majority, maybe players like Schar, Krafth, Ritchie and Hayden could play but just about everyone else looked injured or knackered vs Tottenham and could do with a rest. Think we could see the return of 5-3-2 but i don't think we have 2 fit strikers so I'd stick to 3-4-3 personally...

We need to rest people and give others a game. Every single on of the new signings should start to help get them fit and up to speed with the game here. We are unlikely to win the thing but should approach it with a positive mindset. Treat it as a free swing and have a go.
The likes of M Longstaff, Willems, Joelinton, Muto, Maximin (if fit), Krafth, Fernandez, Atsu, Scott, Sterry, Ki, Aarons, Colback, Saivet, Francillette should be the types to play. Get some game time into them and try to win the game.
