Really? Do you believe in superstitious twaddle? We'll lose, if we do, because Brighton will overrun our midfield. Unless longstaff is back, or Bruno remembers how to function without him.Nice way to tempt fate.

Well we are going to see how mentally strong we are on Thursday.
Pressure well and truly on.
as it has on this thread #bedwettersHonestly think the pressure will come from the stands more than the players or staff themselves.

The issue for me isn't so much that it doesn't work having them both start. It's more that it leaves us nothing threatening on the bench, so can't dynamically change things up on 60 minutes or whatever. Gordon, Almiron etc. are probably not that intimidating many teams sadly.I'm not sure starting Wilson and Isak worked, maybe go back to starting one with the other on the bench. Wilson to start, considering the form he's in, then Isak to come on second half and change things up.

Who would you bench Isak for and why?
ASM or Murphy.
Reason is they'd get the assists for Wilson, and if he hasn't scored by 60 mins, bring on Isak to replace one of the above.
ASM is a luxury player that shows up when he feels like it. Murphy would be on the RW, Isak is playing on the LW.
Neither Almiron or Murphy should be playing LW as Almiron cannot cross and Murphy is right footed.
Basically it's Gordon vs ASM vs Isak for LW, and Isak is probably more creative than the other options.
ASM looked decent when he came on Vs Leeds, and that's an option to start with, and if that's not working resort to the Leeds team. Reason, Brighton are solid and tough and ASM may get them on the rack in the first half.
We looked hopeless Vs Leeds until we got the pen, we seem to be a total second half team this season.
Ok but I fail to see why it's Isak that should be dropped. Wilson is a good goal scorer but if anyone should be dropped out of both of them it shouldn't be Isak.
Isak made Wilsons goal vs Southampton, he came close to scoring vs Arsenal and he won our penalties vs Leeds.
Isak offers way more to the team than Wilson.
ASM for me. Just need to be mindful that we cover the full back....ASM or Murphy.

I like being a bedwetter. It balances the equilibrium.as it has on this thread #bedwetters
