TBH i'm not to worried about his personal wealth it's about the investment he can bring in from outside I'm more excited about. They aren't short of a few bob out there in the UAE and as I've said before I'm sure he'll have plenty of extended family and buisness associates who'll be keen to get in on the act.

Would love him to come in but still think he'd be above our grade for a few years minimum. It's not like City's take over where the agents can play it off as "you're signing for Manchester" while the players aren't even aware there's two teams in the city.

 

Plus with the TV deal personal wealth isn’t as important as it was 10-15 years ago.

He could bring well needed investment throughout the club as well as getting us back on track commercially - those things shouldn’t be undervalued just because we’re not going to be the next Man City.

Also you only have to look at Everton/Man Utd to see what spending 100s of millions gets you in this current climate.

He personally gets a quid for every transaction using a credit card and there are about 30million per day.
