    Was there bollocks sombrero. I waited up all night for the accolades to come pilling in, dashed downstairs to catch the postman hoping for a plethora of cards congratulating me on this magnificent achievement, even spent 4 hours in front of the teletext convinced someone on not 606 would have considered it newsworthy.....but absolutely nothing.

    I thought " I'll be buggered if this feat goes unrewarded "....so I drove from Melton Mowbray to Ponteland(where I used to live), stood on the bridge over the river Pont and played ' For he's a Jolly Good Fellow ' to myself on a comb and toilet paper. I know people may consider that act of self gratification a trifle stupid but it meant an awful lot to me.

    I'm sure a man like yourself would have done the same thing.
