One thing I find hilarious is back in the 70s there was a ban on violence and lewdness in film but the exception was biblical films given the amount of death and sex there is in there - as a result we have mainstream porn films like Caligula.

I like looking at the reactions of the people - the shocked guys at the top left, the confused kid in the middle, the judgmental man in the black jacket who looks like he is going to tell Cantona off for his bad kicking form and the woman in the purple who looks giddy with excitement that Cantona is near her.

 

There was a decnt piece on the bbc a few years back about that with an interview with one of the crowd.

 

It's not all peace and love in the NT, certainly not at the end, pretty much everyone gets it.
