We've a squad more than capable of winning the league, not signing a centre half doesn't change that.
Needs an attitude change from Mourinho to carry it off though and this is what worries me.
Reckon we'll win tonight and, looking at the fixtures, we've a decent start to build up a head of steam.
No one to fear until Chelsea away in October.
Second at worst, the title at best.

Don't bet mate, prefer my kids to eat![]()
Heading down to the pub tonight for the game. First night out down there for quite a while.
Thank **** the footy's back mate!!

Liverpool will finish above you
An interesting speculation stated as fact.
We'll see.
...get behind your whiney manager and your team and try and enjoy the season!

We can have a bet on it if you like? £20 to the winner's charity of choice?
Go on then, seeing as it's you.
Put it on bets for bantz?
@Spurlock , would you do the honours please?

Why!Someone on our board is mightily upset about my avatar
I think he said he won't list just charity bets.
I really don;t know how the Hammers will get on, could be the best seaosn we've ever had, or go completely tits up, though I don't see us relegated. It's my impression that making so many changes at once usually doesn't work, players lack cohesion due to their unfamiliarity. That said, last season the players looked like they were playing with 10 complete strangers in half the matches, and were blown by 70 mins despite running the least. Less than 50 points would be considered a failure I think and, realistically, 7th our best out-come.
