It's going to be an annihilation this one. The back 4 will be the worst back 4 to ever play at Wembley. Oh and then add the fact Pope can't kick a ball.
It's the opposite knee this time too, apparently. Seems like every time we sign a defender of genuine quality, they turn out to be majorly injury prone.
So if it's Dubravka Trippier Burn Schar Livramento Tonali Bruno Joelinton Murphy Isak Barnes That's 7 of the 11 players signed since Ashley left, 8 if it's Pope. Even the replacements for Gordon and Hall aren't from the Ashley time.
Intriguing. Do what we did vs Arsenal then with 3 CBs, so then have Bruno and Tonali midfield, and Joelinton in the front 3 with Isak and Murphy. This actually looks ok.
"Howe then claimed Botman was ‘close’ to being involved last time out against Brighton & Hove Albion having returned to light training on Saturday but didn’t feel ‘100%’ - ruling him out for a fifth consecutive match. Having seen a specialist earlier this week, Botman was advised that surgery would be the best course of action to address the issue." I assume he may be able to play on a bit injured, or have the surgery now and rull himself out.
Can we change the title of this thread to "Now we're really f***ed", or are we saving that one for when Isak gets cattled?
If he’s losing it then he should speak with CC because he’s got plenty spare as he’s given up stirring it.
Keyhole surgery to remove a small fragment of bone from his other knee. Will be back playing within 3 weeks max.
