Lol, Red DONT go down that route......I tried, it accounts for a fair whack of this thread and the conversation didn't go much better than the one on the last two pages......
You are very slow, of course even the best managers don't win every trophy every time, that's never been doubted or said. Stop trying to point score and show off to your liverpool chums and actually think for a second.
Nice try at avoiding the whole point again. as shown in my 3rd question the best will not win most of the time if those other factors are against them. Therefore, a simple after the fact trophy count in no way proves who is or was the best manager.
brilliant! I love a bit of irony I don't need to try to "score points" against you, you make yourself look silly just like in this quoted comment
Its not a big kitty compared to league rivals at all, as I already pointed out and you obviously ignored that Benfica spent £16 million on players in one season around the time of Mourinho. Porto spent nothing like that. He won two european trophies spending very little money, compare the spending power of porto to rthe European heavyweights and you'll see that they should not have got anywhere near winning those.
No no, let's be fair.... Mourinho has stacked up, no matter how we think he's done it a fair few trophies... So if he wins feck all this year, doesn't quit or get sacked and doesn't win anything next year....despite most likely spending another 100+ million...Eats will be more than happy to keep Mourinho on because his past trophy hall means he's the best manager.....and he''ll boo the owner if he's stupid enough to sack the best manager TWICE!!! I know some Arsenal fans that walked down this particular road a few years back.....
That ignores the fact that the best get to the top of their profession as the best clubs will take them from the weaker sides.
He is also excellent at organising a defense and getting a team to work hard as a unit. Sounds just like stoke so using eat my holes logic Jose could win the league with stoke.
Oh dear Lord.... I give up....I'd love to keep playing here but I've got to sleep and this looks like it would go on for quite some time..... He really doesn't see it.
£20m+ in two season despite having a strong squad when he arrived suggests he had money to spend. Bare in mind what league and year we're talking about.
So you really think winning with what is already the best side with all those factors in your favour makes you the best manager? And people think I am mad for proclaiming the magnificent player that was Djimi Traore!
The best managers will always rise to the top as the top clubs always look for the best man they can get. If a manger is performing well enough this will happen.
Didn't we (Liverpool) finish seventh last year? But yeah, I get your point about fifth and Mourinho working miracles
