That's true , but it was a penalty to me . Vardy should have came out of that game ........without a card at all imo
What makes you think its wumming? Why does everything have to be a wum? It might just be sheer pig headedness. Let's not give credit where it is not due.
Young has the right of attack , was trying to get around him ...the defender sticks his foot out , stops youngs foot from going forward ..........Penalty .
He's saying that Ashley Young should've had a penalty at some point in his career. Even Ashley Young doesn't believe that.
The defender was losing the run forward to Vardy , the defender reaches forward and doesn't " Touch " Vardy , he grabs him and is pulling back . Vardy is trying to pull away and when they disconnect Vardy suffers a jolt ..... They both have their backs to the ref and he can't see the grab . Should have talked to the linesmen for his imput .To me , it's a penalty all day long .. But hey , so is the other one with Young .The defender pulls Vardy back just above the elbow , not the shoulder by the way
Going around and around in circles. The world and his brother thinks it was never a penalty and a blatant, poorly executed dive. There is, however, one dissenting voice.
Then there is the question ........do all dives get a yellow card ?. I think we all know the answer to that one .
...tangle of legs ... defender going over too as a result? ..no ...yes that's a dive ... very different..
I wasn't making a direct comparison, just challenging the assertion that contact = foul. They're not very different, though. Both feature a cheat initiating contact to try to fool the officials into giving a penalty. The more obvious and clumsy dive received a penalty and the other resulted in the correct punishment.
There are some here who will be claiming that if you force an opposition team to do that, then a penalty should also be awarded against you.
