No doubt , and it's a big game , but the anxiousness is being dragged into the fray from pre Curtis home games imo
Curtis and company have been seriously thrown into the deep end by previous events , let's not hold onto those events as they try to move on .
Even the most staunch supporters who want a new full time manager have to admit things are smoother since Curtis took over , clean slate support should come with it instead of a wait and see how things progress outlook .
The team has never had to face sceptic support before and it's having an effect imo.
We're all anxious , this next game is the most defining game since we entered the Premier , home fans have an opportunity to be a help or a hinderance from their seats .
Loud in support , or quiet in scepticism.

Attractive to most die hard fans, because of our fight for survival coupled with theirs, most fair weather fans will start to drift as our plight and if our plight worsens, I am not surprised they cant sell them, shame though.

Probably a lot left due to Sunderland not taking any where near their allocation.

Shines a pretty good light on expansion .
If we ever go down and season tickets plummit , I hope when we come back up , a screening process is put in place that wasn't there last time .

The position we find ourselves in now is the position I thought we would be in for the whole first season , maybe 2 , till we went down .
It's pretty well a dream come true that we took the league by storm for 2 Seasons , playing nice football on a shoestring budget with admirers far and wide , a Cup in the case .
But we changed after that 2nd season , the board changed it till we finally arrived where we are today .
Doesn't mean we can't change it back but it will take a board that regonizes they got " To big for their britches " after being so good at picking the right man for the job for many seasons previous .
Getting to the Premier was the most incredible thing , staying was gravy .
I hope and think we will stay up , but if we fall it will be the expierence of what we did while we were up I will dwell on and not the fact that we fell.
And the guys I will think of the most if we go down will be guys like Williams , Rangel , Dyer , Britton , Monk ( the player and captain ) Routledge and yes even Gower more so than than guys like Shelvey , Siggy , Bony , Gomis , Montero and such .
But we aren't down and I welcome the battle to stay up with the team we have now .
I just wish we would have stayed "The little club that could " with the right man running the team .

Gaps are beginning to appear above us right at the time no club wants them to appear and there is no reason to think they wont get bigger. We have not put a string of wins together all season so what makes you think with an interim manager and jinx calling the shots and no striker worth talking about are we going to turn things around, Its very unlikely in it. Nobody wants us to go down but if your honest about the situation you can see we are in a mess and the problems we are having to resolve it. We can see plainly that jinx and the board have lost the plot and are struggling to sell their philosophy to anyone and for that reason i believe there is more chance of us being relegated than there is stringing enough wins together to stop gaps appearing worse above us......This is not me or anyone wanting relegation as it's not, Its about the reasons why we look to be heading that way.....

Dont you think there is a reason to flap ?
Question.....Where are our goals going to come from ? ....What leads you to expect we will get better when we are in a worse position now than we have ever been....
I'm sorry i don't hold the wishful thinking you have dragon as i can only see the reality of the situation and that is bleak at the moment. I hope to god things do change but jinx don't give anyone confidence with his one trick pony way of doing things......I have seen it all before....

No, I do not, though we have a tough second half and need to continue to put in the performances of the last 4 games, especially at home, we can do it, and I have confidence in Huw Jenkins to get it right, he's paid to do just so, so stop flapping, plenty is going on behind the scenes............<ok>

How do you know there is plenty going on behind the scenes ?All you can see is we cant get a decent manager or attract a striker good enough.....That's the reality and not wishfully thinking that's gone on for 5 weeks. There is only one way we are going to solve this is to let the manager run the day to day running of the club and to back him on what players he wants and which way he wants to play.....Stop this stubbornness of only playing one way and accept defeat and be told that top managers are telling you they wont manage a club like that even if it is in the premiership as it wont be a premiership club for much longer the way its run today...

If Huw Jenkins and our board are taking us down as you say, then why did they sack Monk? they did it because he was taking us down and they wanted to revers that, which they have and will continue to look at every option available to strengthen our team through the Transfer window. .They are also doing everything in their power to bring in the best manager they can for the future of our club........<ok>

PS: You are so moronic on times Dai, you truly are.

Believe me Monk was not taking us down it was Jinx and his board that is taking us down....They are not listening to the manager who has been so successful since his appointment. Monk never brought in these players ...jinx did and Monk has been forced to play them........You don't just become a bad manager over night as there is a reason and that reason is the way jinx and his board members have took over the playing side of things. Not even monk can work like that and he made that plain. The final straw was waking up one morning and finding jinxs had got rid of dyer.......The club had been forced by monk himself to sack him with a nice £3m pay off and now look at us....we are a mess and it serves jinx and the boards right........It's what happens you see when non football people think they know better than professional football people at ground level and the reality is they don't have a clue........No club can work that way and relegation is imminent if jinx and the board dont wake up....

Jenkins did everything humanly possible to prop Monk up to make it look like putting Monk in charge was the right thing to do and kept him in charge so long because of it .
Even if Jenkins gave Monk , a totally rookie , control of transfers ......what the hell would he know .
Even Jenkins would do better with transfers than Monk daiswan , which isn't setting the bar very high .

I doubt that very much as other managers have said time and time again........Jinx has made himself look a prat and now the club and fans must pay the price.....You cant go against football people who know what they are talking about to someone who dont know the in's and out's of running a football side on the ground......Jinx and his amateurish board have ruined a once good football club and they deserve all the rejection they are having by proper people who knows what they are talking about..

As much as I hate to bring this up...... I've just noticed the name change and the alteration to your signature. it's funny how Laudrup was such a failure in your eyes but Monk was a 'scapegoat' even though he was given much more time (and rope) by the Board than his predecessor ever was. So now the "zero to hero" Chairman is the object of your ire and he's "back to zero" again. You're a man perpetually riddled with inconsistent arguments and that's why your older posts here are often pasted by others who go digging through your past comments. You're always entertaining I'll give you that.
