He is a scouser, and they are special people who are reared this way. I love them but hate the Beatles

I think our midfield and attacking options are good our defence is not so good not for the premiership we do need some pace at the back, NW please dont sign peroni from what i've seen of him in our pre season he wont cut it sorry guys im not even sure about gabidon big worry.

We are all using this 4-2-3-1 formation but are we sure Papa Warnock is going to actually use this formation? Maybe a 4-4-2??

    Well said again TBGWTDT,
I agree. My only reservation is left back.
I would put Hill at cb with any combination of Gorkks Connolly Gabbidon or Fitz.
But there is no one else to play left back.
Thats where I would of pulled out all the stops to get a left back, Ryan Bertrand from Chelsea would of been my target, failing that Wayne Bridge.

It was Hill or derry, thought cover/strength at the back was more important. I should know Ive played football manager.......:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Derry is a Hero a will defo get run outs, I just think it may be as a super sub. More effective?

Exactly my thinking, we will have to score heaps to stay ahead. Equalize before they score etc... Still, I reckon I've seen a grand total of 7 goals at my last 6 games, expecting to see plenty of action in first 2 games

    How about

    Kenny,

    Orr, Gorks, Gabbi, Connolly,

    Dyer, Derry, Tarbs, Ali, Hogan,

    DJ

Basically a 4,5,1 - that would probably naturally resort to a 4,2,3,1 in play or a 4,2,2,1 + tarbs running around where ever he wants...

Sub - Boothroyd to come on for hogan if we need goal and we switch to 4,3,1,2 with tarbs in the hole...
