Ciry are playing it forward faster than their abilty, or confidence allows this taking JET out of the game. When you constantly lose the football players lose confidence and sit deep. Sit deeper and deeper and the opposition scores, and did, forget the penalty, City invited them forward. The Rotherham game defensively was a shambles and a backward step, so here was an improvement as the defence was attached to the midfield this week. It hard to spot the Cotterill narrative yet, but there are signs despite three games, and differing formations.
