It's going to be a terrific test of our 'bouncebackability!' Should be a really good game, as both teams will be trying to win!!

http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...big-chance-to-replace-injured-pukki-1-5744739 The title of the article says it all IMO !!!! Time to step up JR and I do feel that had Pukki been rested for at least one game he MAY not have succumbed to his injury. I can't really agree with DF's statement - “It is frustrating because we were so careful with the minutes he was playing and training before the international break in order to calm his load down, watching his nutrition every day and checking all the data to make late decisions on whether he was fit to play each game for us,” said Farke. He played virtually 90 minutes of every game in September, so how can DF make that statement????
Nottingham Forest kept clean sheets in both Championship meetings against Norwich in 2017-18 (W1 D1) - in their previous match, they had lost 5-1 (February 2017). Norwich have won two of their last 12 league visits to the City Ground against Nottingham Forest (D3 L7). Nottingham Forest midfielder Adlene Guedioura has played more Championship matches without ending on the losing side than any other player this season (9 - W3 D6 L0). Norwich and Nottingham Forest have both scored just three first-half goals in the Championship this season, with only Rotherham scoring fewer (2). In regular Championship meetings, Aitor Karanka has never lost against Norwich, nor has he seen his sides concede a goal (P3 W2 D1 L0) - however, he did lose against the Canaries in the 2014-15 Championship play-off final as Middlesbrough manager. Norwich have given just 1,473 minutes to English players in the Championship this season - fewer than any other side; the Canaries are the only side yet to see an English player score a goal this season in the second tier.
Whilst he didn't play the Wycombe game, Pukki has so far only missed 9 minutes of league football this season. Top 5 so far: Pukki 1083 mins this season (all comps) Leitner 1082 Krul 1080 Tettey 1071 Klose 1039
DF will point to sports science and that his data told him he was good to go. But common sense should prevail on these matters. In Pukki's sense I can actually understand continuing to play him, his injury history is not like Tettey's. It's the continued flogging if him that Could spell disaster to me. Bah!
Thompson has been injured, but Godfrey has repeatedly been overlooked for that slot. Naturally when you have momentum it's hard to be proactive and not keep things the same, but I'm amazed we've let Tettey play 3 games in a week. Even under Hughton it was felt he wasn't capable. Like you say, the club will know much more than we do, in terms of data and how Tettey himself feels. I just hope we don't end up losing him for a significant spell.
