Sweet jesus that was some atmosphere today. A great travelling support! 1st half was actually ****e and full credit to Manning for being the only player to confront the linesman over their goal when everyone else was lining up for the restart. He wouldnt let it go and it got chalked off.
Barbets passing was dreadful in the first half, forest must have thought they had an extra player at times. We were non existent in central midfield with only Ball truly showing for a pass. 2nd half we came out differently, BOS was ****ting them up, Manning was pushing right on and we looked more likely to nick something. Eze got more of the ball when he moved to the left and he also looked more dangerous if not a little knackered at times. Pugh tries, he really does but he just doesnt bring anything to the team by playing on the wing. This game was crying out for movement and Chair should have been brought on much earlier for Pugh, moving Eze to the wing. Cameron had a very good 2nd half. It would have been interesting to bring on Oteh alongside hugill as when we did get in crossing positions, we lacked the numbers in the box. Too many times Hugill challenges for the ball without anyone within 10 yards of him. Overall a well deserved draw against a good team. I cant see Pugh starting the next game. The general consensus amongst the fantastic support was 'why is he on the pitch'?? When the likes of Chair and Clarke are on the bench.

I’ve serious concerns regarding Mannings defensive positioning but he can play ball. What do you think of playing him in the defensive 2 with license to bomb forward?

If Manning was responsible for having a direct impact to get their goal disallowed, then he is undoubtably my MOTM! Excellent! :)
Me too! Otherwise he was poor, pulled all over the place at the back by Forest especially early on, and when he got forward a bit later his passing was mostly inaccurate again.

Agrred. Football wise it was not his best day. But he was sharp and determined in the “Rules of the Game”.

Didn’t see the game but Forest **** all over Cash and Lolley so it was never going to be easy defending that side.

I understand what your saying, all their attacks in the 1st half were aimed towards manning as Pugh kept drifting inside leaving the flank exposed. Manning was probably my m.o.m to be honest.

Cant agree with that at all. He put one cross over the bar wildly, in comparison to barbets 5 passes in a row to Forest players. Manning was totally exposed due to Pugh in the 1st half. 2nd half all our best play came down the left.
