This is the thing. Even in the city game, appreciate difficult game, but we weren’t exciting. West Ham? We played well for 45 minutes then become standard boring lfc again. this season, we’ve been so dull to watch. No inspiration. No creativity. No speed. Few years ago you had Robbo flying down wing. TAA overlapping. Salah mane running in behind. Firmino dropping deep to create space. Now we have Robbo who is older and can’t keep doing it. Salah isn’t as quick anymore. Mane gone. Firmino is a 1 in 4 player at the moment. Diaz and Nunez only players that have any kind of pace and excitement in this whole squad.
How did the lino not flag for offside on that last chance btw? Did he forget that you need 2 players back rather than just 1 defender? Just allow play to go on for another 20 seconds instead of giving offside and maybe one last chance for us to get it up field.
Distinct lack of energy and desire. At the rate we sign players, we are a couple seasons away from being decent again

We don’t have any depth in the squad to replace Diaz, Jota, Nunez and Thiago who all a big miss. Curtis Jones, I don’t know. Elliot and Carvalho are not yet ready to take on full games and impose themselves. Fabinho has gone right off form but there is also our desperately poor finishing. Forget top four this season, we are too inconsistent and easy to beat by a well organised team who hit on the break
It's difficult to qualify, I'm unsure exactly why it's so mundane. Maybe the push last season, getting do close and knowing that won't be repeated has taken its toll. The brief break, straight back to it, international breaks, stopping for the world cup, going again, it doesn't feel like a proper season. Never mind the mass injury list. I dont know, but the feeling round the club is just a bit listless

Not a very pleasant watch against a really poor team. Really should have taken advantage of a very shaky keeper. Can't even say Forest played well. We are deplete with injuries but the lack of creativity is startling. We needed at least one of Jota, Diaz or Nunez to cause a bit of havoc. With them all out, we didn't look like scoring. Van Dijk having the best chances, says it all. Clear penalty for foul on Alisson.
