They’ve tightened up at the back for sure Jammy… but they still cough up chances. Sides have just not taken them. Their 2-0 win over Leicester being a case in point. Harvey barnes misses two sitters at 0-0. Yesterday, Leicester 4 shots on target 4 goals. Such is football.

Unfortunate results for us yesterday, even with the dyche factor didn't expect the gunners to lose after their start to the campaign, the foxes turning over vile nope.... I thought wolves would possibly get a point against shergar's victims...fully expected the toon to get three...only the saints did the expected and the cherries came close to a good point....so must win today? Won't be to dissatisfied with a point considering forest are decent at home and should be equally as determined to make sure that they themselves move further away from the mire....... time for some bottle and the usual fantastic backing from the traveling support.... it's Showtime

They have had a decent run of form since the league resumed after the World Cup. Hence why they have climbed out of the relegation zone. Signed more players too. Heard Jesse on the radio saying florist play a diamond so we have set up to play against this. Double bluff or mouth running away again, who knows? <doh>

Has he really come out and said that the yank plank. Talk about giving the game away. Shelvey is a good signing for them if he is still capable. Wood we know all about and is a form player and so far this season he has none. I am hoping they are disrupted due to injuries.

    Yep and that's why it's a 50/50 game.

So not sure why the vast majority on here are predicting a win by 2 goals or more (Doc in his happy place). Hopeful of a win obviously, but as we've only won 4 games all season and they're in good form it will be tough and the most likely outcome is a defeat or draw.

Leeds fans it seems just don't like to face up to the truth.

    1-3 Leeds then <laugh>

… Predicting results in the PL is a proper mugs game. No result or score today would surprise me.

    Exactly Milky <ok>

That's why you play the game, do the best you can and then move onto the next one without throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Just seen Sean Dyche described as a straight talking, no bullshit kinda guy which is interesting. Also he played a 4-5-1 yesterday, for those that didn't watch his first game in charge of Everton.

Anyone know the XG rating from their game as it seems they didn't park the bus either.

Can't see them going down now, along with West Ham, Leicester and Wolves as they all have that PL nous which will see them to safety.

The reason I have gone for a big win today is simply because if we lose you might as well say bye bye to Marsch. We lose today we will probably also lose both scum games. That’s 3 losses on the bounce and bottom of the league. The players will be panicking, Marsch will be talking more bollox, every pundit and journo on his back, the fans in his case too. It will become too much for him to cope with.

We have the players and a decent squad and they must start getting results. We have all sat and watched the teams who were rock bottom win games whilst we haven’t. West Ham, Leicester, Everton, Forest passing us by.

I watched it and Everton more than deserved their win. Dyche had them fired up. Pressed Arsenal constantly.

I only saw the last half hour. Looked like they overloaded the midfield and bullied Arsenal. Scored from a set piece. They’re a big physical side. Ideal for dycheball.

    Forest 7/4
    Leeds 6/4
A little surprised with those odds, I thought they'd be slight favourites.

Loving this Doc. The power of positive thinking. Going for a win onthe basis of us needing one. <cheers>

yeh, it means either the bookies know there are lots of optimistic Leeds fans… or they tend to look at performances as a predictor more than results.

    Jokes aside it’s the latter,

Good to see that Jammy has bought into the idea of xg.

when we played Arsenal, our xg was higher than Everton’s and our xg against similar

yet more evidence for Jesse over ginge <laugh><laugh>

They were earlier the week. Followed a similar pattern to Leeds v West Ham, where home side started favs, but on day of the game away backed into favs
