They are second bottom of the table and yet they've had 10 shots to our 1. Says it all really. Just not good enough from us.

He’s got an assist and won a few balls. Problems stem deeper than him today. Been a few times today where he’s won the ball and there’s been absolutely no options for him. Midfielders and Bogle need to help out more. Think our midfield 3 have been poor.

Tactically I just don't get it. We lump it up to a center forward who has no one playing off him then if we win the ball we play it back.

WTF is that all about ?

How many points they had under Ange is irrelevant they have a decent squad and a manager who knows how to organise them. I’d have been happy with a point before kick off.

We were never going to be creative with that line up. Only watched the last 25 minutes… they’ve been as bad as we have.

What’s everyone’s expectations of today? Thought we looked pretty comfortable to be honest

Right. My summary of where things are going wrong.

When we have the ball, the gameplan is for the full backs to create the width by pushing forward. This should create simple passing opportunities out wide as we should in theory have overload given the 3 CM and two wide men AND now two full backs.

What we actually do is push the full backs forward to create the overload and then try the most difficult passes through the crowded central part of the pitch usually to Nmecha who has two huge defenders wrestling him. Forest pick up possession cheaply and break forward. There is acres of space out wide because our full backs have pushed on.

The issue that needs fixing is that we need to simplify our game and play the simple passes. Look at Aaronsons assist for the goal, it's a really simple pass. That's all you need to do.

Defensively we've been really poor. Here's a bold statement. Gudmundsson is nearly as bad as Firpo at defending! He just ball watches and this isn't the first time. Same at Burnley and we can throw in the Fulham own goal too. I don't think he was unlucky, I think he just switches off.

Midfielders MUST pick up the runners from midfield. Sangare had all the space in the world to pick his spot. Just like the Brighton lads last week.

As you all know, I have my reservations on Perri. He has the habit of palming the ball back out centrally. Just like he did today.

I'm not a happy bunny for the 2nd weekend in a row. Playing like this, and decision making like this, not the rest of the season 100% sees us relegated.

I accepted the Arsenal loss. Burnley could even be put down as a bad day at the office but the Brighton performance and now this **** at Forest is very very worrying. The intensity needs to be upped another 20% and we need to spend in January.

Not anywhere near Bielsa ball though..

Can’t se us winning this. We just keep the ball and have nothing else.. great goal by Nmecha though. Only one shot so far the whole match.. says it all

One point is so far from good enough you would not believe it. ONLY a win is good enough:emoticon-0148-yes:

We need to go back to 4-2-3-1... 4-3-3 just hasn't worked for us this season

Personally I was hoping to see us fix a few things that went wrong at Brighton. I'm hugely disappointed that we seem to be repeating those errors and the patterns of play seem very similar. I want to see us grow stronger and more confident as the season progresses but I'm sorry to say that I only see the opposite. We look way off it and you can see the fragility/uncertainty in how we play.

When will we retreat back in to our own 18 yard box?

    Signs are it's happened already.
