As with Villa will be a good test of how we are doing.

Have to say I'm not keen on the black effort. If it had the gold trim and ship badge like the mock up it would have been much better imo.

Cheers RTB another fine effort many thanks, looking forward to this one hopefully we can pinch a win but I’d take a draw right now hoping Betis gave them a hard game not sure what formation the gaffer will go for Wilson more than likely to start and I think Rigg deserves another shot going 2-1 the lads COME ON

Wilson's goal has, imo, been overshadowed by Xhaka's assist and the red card ...

... but he ran himself ragged, anticipated the pass and did incredibly well to beat two defenders to the ball.

The finish wasn't easy, by any means, and it gives me confidence he'll grab double figures this season.

Must admit, I wondered how much game time he would get and also if he could be effective at this level.

He's clearly worked hard with the new coaching regime and alongside better players is improving the weaker aspects of his game which is good to see. Long may it continue for him and hope it helps spur Mayenda on as well.

It's great that Wilson has got the goals he has, it will give him plenty of confidence and with the team he has supporting him on the pitch I could also see him getting into double figures providing he stays fit and firing.

Hope that we get Brobbey up to speed quickly so that he can also be utilised, I'm hopeful that both Wilson and and Mayenda will benefit from having someone like him to play off in certain games, the next two games being cases in point.

Mukiele to left back and Ballard back in the middle...or swap Hume with Mukiele positionally.

From last week after this enforced change I think I would leave Riggy on the bench till second half but I would bring Mayenda in.

I think Mayenda and Isidor can cause a lot of havoc like Coventry away in the play offs when we sat back and caught them on the break.

Xhaka, Sadiki and Le Fee to me or more than strong enough and obviously we can throw Talbi in the mix as well.

    2 - 1 to the lads.....Le Fee pen....and Big Dan from a corner.....HTL!!!!

:emoticon-0102-bigsm I can’t claim credit for the name, steered by loads on here and OTR clocked that Xhaka’s YT contained some absolute worldies.

I can’t wait for him to score a thunderbastard at home, that will be something special.

In the meantime, I’m happy for him to do so in Nottingham and Manchester…

I wasn't certain that Isidor and Mayenda would do well in the premiership, big step up etc... but I wasn't convinced we were desperate to sign a striker never mind spend a big fee on one as I had a feeling they might cope with the step up.

So far the signs are good.

It helps that they are confidence players the pair of them (which player especially striker isn't I suppose?) And scoring straight away will help massively and good performances and goal when they do play will help massively.

There’s me forgetting my manners. Sorry @RTB, superb thread as always mate, really appreciate the effort you make in producing the MDT’s.

As a recently passed London based MLF I worked with would have said. “ Excellence as standard”.

Very appropriate for the quality of your efforts mate.

Personally I would keep changes to a minimum and play Masuaku at left back (round pegs in round holes as they say). The other 3 are forming good partnerships with each other so dont see the need to break that up at the moment imo.
