Apparently insurance was required before any refurbishment work could be started so all the French billionaires can now hand over any donations to the government to spend on yellow jacket demands

Mug.The Glasgow School of Art (RIP) has now burnt down twice during refurb works, and both fires are cited as being a fault with the electrics - I suppose if the fuses/MCBs aren't rated correctly then overheating could occur before the breaker trips, and depending what combustible debris is about this may lead to ignition....?
Absolutely. Protect a 1.5mm lighting circuit with a 40amp device and overload the circuit then it won't break until the cable is mush, but that isn't short circuit. A technicality, but important nonetheless. If the electrics in a building such as this weren't I'm tip top condition, then it's naughty naughty. The Glasgow School of Art (RIP) has now burnt down twice during refurb works, and both fires are cited as being a fault with the electrics - I suppose if the fuses/MCBs aren't rated correctly then overheating could occur before the breaker trips, and depending what combustible debris is about this may lead to ignition....?
From what I have been reading the wiring in many of our churches and cathedrals are a complete disgrace, Lichfield’s hasn’t been touched for decades. Not sure how they can get away with it, when I had to wait ages to get the electrics in my kitchen certified.Absolutely. Mug.
The CIA burnt down the Glasgow School of Art, in a plot to implicate Frankie Boyle, Miss Jean Brodie and the Sultan of Brunei in corrupting our precious bodily fluids.
When will people learn that the most obvious, simple and likely explanation for anything is NEVER to be trusted?
