Lads, lads, lads. This is serious - we have to consider the feelings of the Rangers fans here, it was clearly offensive, an incitement to murder, not to mention blatant support for terrorism on top of the obvious sectarianism. If you don't believe me you should follow the erudite spokesperson for the new club on Twitter @ZombieRFC Zombie Rangers ‏@ZombieRFC I for one applauded the brave decision to bring disciplinary action against this despicable anti-zombie banner. Then my hands fell off.
It is about time we addressed the serious question of whether or not it is possible to murder that which is already dead?
What do we want? Urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr When do we want it? Urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I actually said that out loud to see how it was spelt......what a dick.
Is there anywhere we can complain about the complaint? Even the huns find this ****in thing ridiculous
I love this Loved the banner at the game. Loved dafties getting their knickers in a twist after a hard day's attempting to get their knickers in a twist. Beautiful move by Lawwell - this will detract from the fact that he's otherwise running the SFA with an iron fist Home game versus Kilmarnock is now a "come dressed as a zombie" game I **** you not. From now on, "doing the zombie" is absolutely here to stay There is, of course, the other side to this in that it plumbs a new depth in tit-for-tatness (they were bombarding some reporters and the SFA on twitter - can only assume a similar email torrent was part of this). Expect the "Rangers-haters" in our support to email the SFA about the "peado" banner or the slightest thing they do - and here's the beauty in this zombie own goal. Their nutcases seem to think that Celtic have a unified block complaining block and are constantly attempting to organise their own in (what they perceive as) a similar manner. There might well be now I hope Motherwell unfurl the most offensive banner they muster and then a massive number of Celtic fans complain about the Jeff Winter banner that the Blue Order have and the slightest wee thing. I say bring it on, man. Traynor once claimed that being offended at the famine song was a low in the reactionary nature of fans wanting to rid the game of "banter" but claims that he, personally, was offended by the zombie banner. Fun times ahead. P.S - that Limmy guy commenting on there is the comedians fat, mocket, bigot, big brother and a Vanguard Bear. Light doesn't just bend around him - he's got his own multi-planetary orbital system.
This is all part of the great Bear Crusade Timmy. The hardliners among the Gers support are merely complaining about everything whether they actually find it offensive or not, apparently our fans have been doing it for years, taking Mock offense over something as humourous and harmless as "Up to you knees in Fenian blood" and "The Famine's over why don't you go home". They are playing our game now and all Romans should fear the vengeful Bear.
This is one of the funniest things to come from our SFA since their officers were convinced Rangers/Sevco would stay in the SPL. Wa this banner offensive for slow learners as it took to our Champions League week and Sevco's exit to Queen of the South for the offence to be raised. I never cease to be amazed at the ingenuity of the banner makers at Celtic Park. Not alone do they amuse 75% of the footballing supporters in Scotland but now it appears to be able to annoy the dead. The owner of Sevco has made it clear time and time again that the old club is dead and he and his followers who retain the same hatred of the Pope and of fenians as the now deceased Rangers fans did, but the Green boys are different. Surely Sevco did not expect to create a major surprise and beat a club a Division above them in the league. I just don't know why they are angry now.
Is hugh keevins for real? Says the banner is disgusting because it shows someone shooting someone and could incite violence. ****. I take it he has never seen a violent movie, dull **** probably sits around watching the Disney channel all day.
Obviously we don't understand how upset a cartoon can make some people... please log in to view this image
I would warn Celtic about opening suspicious packages but after the last attempt by sevconians and the plasticine bomb, no need.
Another stupid bear ...
