Crikey, just watched that earlier spring. The acceleration shown by the winner after having nowhere to go was electric and he broke the course record. Wouldn't want to back against that one in a hurry. Humidor came from nowhere finishing like a train. If that is an indication that he's back to his best he should be able to pick up a race.
Well after backing Snow Sky on Thursday, I have also had savers on Windshear after hearing Hannon jr on the morning line, and Hartnell ew at 20's. It's bonkers, but I sometimes get carried away. Some say I should - permanently
Kingston Hill ran a reasonable race on good to firm in the 2000Gns. It couldn't have done him any harm as he turned out for the Derby a month later and ran a good race in the Derby on good ground. He didn't run a bad race in the Eclipse on good to firm, left with too much to do in a fast run race over 10f. Therefore I don't think the good ground will be a problem. Whether he stays is pot luck on breeding. He does have Rainbow Quest as the sire of his dam and way back in the sire's pedigree we find Ribot. Maybe class will see him through.
Class did see him through! Well done to connections and the first British classic for trainer and jockey, I suspect they'll drop him back to 12 furlongs. Doubt they'll target him at 2 mile races and even the Ascot Gold Cup next season.
Amazed by the lack of support for Kingston Hill! Best form by a mile, second horse had the Aussie form too, yet he was written off by all and sundry on here?! Well done those on Kingston Hill lads
Australia form getting some boosts today! What a horse Free Eagle is, best even money bet you'll see all year #whoosh
The bookies could take quite a bashing today over the Irish Sea 2 odds on favs gone in and the next 3 favs look very strong indeed
