OK Kiwi, entirely your own decision.

Belfasthoop, Kiwi has declared you the winner. Congratulations.

Yes Swords. I heard that. I went with his travel agency on a couple of trips with the Irish team many years ago. Only 66 or something.

Kiwi, even a fiver on your horse would have kept you in tea and chocky biscuits for a month. Oh ye of little faith.

Good job he wasn't in this situation when he was mugged - you couldn't make this stuff up!

Made of money! Harry Redknapp had £30k hidden in tracksuit
Football boss Harry Redknapp has told how he once sat in a dug-out in front of Millwall fans with £30,000 of gambling cash in his trousers.

Harry Redknapp reveals in his book how Paul Merson was in serious debt to some bookmakers

and he began to panic when he realised the rolls of money had fallen out of his pocket and were sticking out from the bottom of his tracksuit.

Harry, 66, was Portsmouth boss when Paul Merson gave him the cash to mind before the kick-off.

Ex-Arsenal and England star Merson, 45, who fought betting, booze and drug addictions, was due to meet an Irish bookie after the match to pay a debt.

Redknapp said: “One day at Millwall he (Merson) came into the dressing room with a big, brown bag full of readies.

‘Would you look after this for me gaffer?’ he asked. ‘It’s thirty grand for a bookmaker, an Irish mob. They’re after me and I’ve got to meet them after the game.’ ”

Redknapp agreed and changed into a baggy tracksuit he thought would hide the bulging notes.

He said: “It was OK until I sprang out of my seat on the touchline. I looked down and the notes were coming out the bottom of my trousers.

“We ended up winning 5-0. It wasn’t the only result that day. He told me the money he owed was nearer £100,000 but the bookmakers decided to cut their losses.”
