OK we still have seven horses left. The winner could be sitting there. I have a lot on tomorrow so I want to try and get this all tied up when I finish work in the early hours of the Friday night/Saturday morning. If anybody else wants to enter, send a reply here tonight, please. The list of horses is on post number 10 of this thread on page 1. Thanks.
Ok, Update on those shorts:- Sadly not signed, and unfortunately I may have some decorating in them after our relegation in 12 so I kept looking and found another pair, possibly belonging to Leggs himself but alas it would appear I stained the fence in those after we dropped out of the automatic spots last year, so I kept looking and I have found the shirt that matched the shorts in the same condition I received it in. Its number 9 So If you prefer, crap, old, used training kit this is yours if you don't want the tickets. Sorry to build the tension with those shorts.
OK as I am busy tomorrow, I had to finish this tonight. As nobody offered to take the 7 horses left, I randomly allocated a horse to seven of the regulars posters on here who didn't enter. I hope you don't mind lads. They were just 7 names that came to mind. Cheers. Good luck everybody and enjoy the race.
cheers finglas should my nag actually make it round and win can you give the tickets to the person who got the first horse to fall/pull up I/e 40th
Hey Eamon, my "connections" are telling me Druids nephew. But I never bet...but my connection is a bookies runner who does it for a living ...he sends me cryptic messages, that I have to interprate I got a text message from him on Wednesday, just saying "Druids nephew, could be a goodun"
Mrs Nines likes betting on the Grand National and asked me to pick a horse. So not being a better I have gone for Rubi Light. Some of the Irish contingent on here will probably realise why.
Rather spookily Mrs Nines has gone for Tranquil Sea which is the horse I was allocated on here. An omen perhaps?
