Crappiest rumour of the day, courtesy of twiter: "few sources have said villa signed for arsenal, ronaldo to man city, lita to norwich, holt to celtic"
It's quite hard to make a case for him to be interested, and that worries me. He has played internationally for one of the best teams in the world. Bear in mind here that he has RVP, Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Dirk Kuyt and Jeremain Lens all ahead of him in the pecking order. We are mid-table in arguably the worlds best league, but Sporting are top 3 and get regular European football. If he comes, it will be as a stepping stone. And I wont care one jot.
If the rumours are true, and we had offered £8mil for RVW i fully expect us to offer that for Hooper by the close of the window
I'm not sure if I'd be pleased with that. Personally I think RVW is worth £10-12m, Hooper £5-6m. I think I would be disappointed to pay over the odds for Hooper just because we can't get someone else in.
Apparently bookies quoting 2/5 on Becchio joining Norwich I don't bet so don't know if it stands up! Source a Leeds fan
Not even sure Becchio would be a good signing, but it would be funny to take another player from Leeds.
Yeah, Skybet have Becchio to Norwich at 2/5, but the also suspended betting earlier on Balotelli to AC Milan, so who knows?
I agree, would rather pay what needs be to get RVW but i dont think we will and i believe Hooper is CH no.1 target. As for Becchio, not good enough for what we need!
Even I've started to get frustrated now. I hate this window. this is by far the most stressful January window I've been involved in as a Norwich fan.
from norwich rumours website. 28 Jan 2013 19:45:51 I posted earlier about Wolfswinkel here is another source with same info I think ITS ON Ricky Van Wolfswinkel Sporting can leave in the next few hours, a shame the truth, but the offer is too good to refuse THis is translated from a dutch news feed so it doesn't translate exactly end. will post the url when i find it.
Norwich City could almost have reached an agreement with Sporting Lisbon. This reports the British Daily Express. Chris Hughton, the current manager of Norwich City, is very impressed by the qualities of the young Dutchman. The manager has the spire on top his list to the line of attack to strengthen. Previously gemeldt Danny Graham would move to Norwich City but this seems definitively scrapped. The attacker, who is under contract at Swansea, is probably playing for Sunderland. Graham has recently declared himself for personal reasons to want to leave at Swansea
Lita just went on loan to Sheffield Wednesday! If all that did turn out to happen though, I would personally hunt whoever was responsible down and kick his arse!
