well of course he has he would say this because we aren't interested in the guy but he would also have said this if we are interested in him! you won't learn anything from mcnally tweeting about transfer rumours. as i say, we've had monaco (or nimes) watched in recent weeks so there is a link there but it could be absolutely nothing. only a select few at the club will know - they are very, very cautious about what they tell people these days as any mistake could cost them a signature
I see your point but he doesn't tend to comment on transfer rumours normally which leads me to believe that there probably isn't anything in it.
i tend to agree but he won't say anything that could jeopardise any potential deal. i guess we've probably been keeping tabs on him and the press have found out and made up some guff about us bidding for him. i doubt we've made a bid. whether we make one in the future is also doubtful as he'd be expensive.

The sun reporting it too, the only 2 papers to be are the sun and the fail and both saying different length of contract left... says it all really.
Could see this ending up in another morison situation, I dont know if its just purely his goals record this season that's having him linked to us but his overall gameplay is woeful and this would be serious money wasted! I would have slight questions with hughton and chester were he to sign too.
In some ways, I'll be glad when we get to the end of the month and all these rumours stop. I agree that what we really need is players to IMPROVE the squad and still be an asset in a few years time - don't see that Murray fits the bill.
IF we sign him, I've a feeling he will be another Morrison, not only in terms of ability but another boo boy Hope there are other pans in the fire too!
