Agreed. Don't want to get 'dumped'. Wish I could go Thursday - getting a ticket when in Dubai was a problem - direct flight was there but no way to get the ticket... At least I get to watch the game live and commentary in English. Was my birthday last Thursday and my wife bought me the away shirt from her trip to the UK in August. I have the home shirt - so will have both out to wear depending on what strip we wear. Suffice to say I wore the shirt over the weekend and the Under Armour store in Dubai was impressed when I walked in wearing it - they has not seen it before! Little old Saints...
I'd love to meet up with you guys but I don't arrive Bergamo until 4.30pm Thursday & I'm obviously all "fingers & toes crossed" that my flight lands on time & my colleague is there to meet me & drive me to SS. Anyway, I wish everyone an absolutely stonking time, a result for Saints, which could be all manner of scores. COYR. Ps. I don't even have a hotel, only a promise that i can bunk down on the floor if I can meet up with some Saints mates later that eve! Gonna be an interesting night!!
You're gonna be cutting that fine mate!! Bergamo a long old way from the San Siro... Apparently tickets/id will be checked twice as well with a 'security checkpoint' prior to the turnstiles.
Judging by the information given I'd say not but doesn't directly state. I'm not overly happy about carrying it around all day/night myself.
I'm staying at Academia Antares hotel. I'm now travelling on my own so would like to meet up if I get the chance. Coach gets to the hotel at 3pm ish Wednesday, as I've not done the coach trip thing before, I'm not sure what will be going on really
Interesting. Like I say I'm not keen on the idea of carrying it round but not sure I want to risk it.
Good man, you're a hero for braving that coach journey I'll pm you my number later on and give us shout on thursday if you want to meet up
In Spain, (unless things have changed) the only time they accept a copy of a passport, for ID, is if it is an "official" copy, carrying the stamp (in blue ink) from a Notary. Unofficial copies, i.e. done by yourself, aren't generally acceptable. If Italy has a similar liking for officialdom, they might follow a similar practice.
Why, why, why on earth would you want to go to an English/Irish pub when overseas. Sorry, but I really, really don't get that.
I agree with the passport thing - I'm not comfortable carrying it around with me, but hey-ho, if it gets me in the San Siro, i'll do it. It's not worth risking it and i suppose the worst that can happen is that I'm stuck in Milan for a few days celebrating
