Very generous Mrs. B_M_B. Thank you.
    If I can make a suggestion ?
Given that the allocation of teams has already been made, and obviously many groups have a very slim chance of their allocated team winning the competition, how about the eventual winning group be asked to donate your sponsorship prize to a charity of their choice ? That way everyone entering the sweepstake will in some way be winners ? I would suggest that you would be sole arbiter of approving their choice of charity and forwarding the prize to that charity.
    Just a thought.

Least I can do before shortly hanging up the boots on here. You must have missed my post before the final where I said I was staying home with the cats.

My husband came home from the specialist today with the news that he has Bowen's Disease on his lips. Just another minor health problem to keep him occupied as there are a few options to be considered.

Sorry to hear that and my best wishes to your husband. I hope they've caught it in the early stages.

I've got Brazil, so feel I'm in with a shout of something. I entered for a bit of fun, so, if I won anything, I'd be more than happy for it to go to charity.

Grand gesture Mrs B_M_B and best wishes to your other half.

Excellent suggestion. Each winner can suggest a charity and its split between them?

    Lovely gesture too Mrs BMB.

    Another suggestion;

Would it be easier to perhaps make a just giving page? So those who do want to make a donation towards the winnings can?

We have a £200, and a £40. I'll be happy to add another £10 into the pot

Wouldn't that require an agreement as to which charity (if any) the money goes to?

I'd assume the person who set up the page would be trusted with splitting theoney between charities I'm not sure if you need a specific one to open a page.

I'm not clued up on that stuff though, I'm sure someone will work it out

    Liking the charidy idea.

I'm up for bunging a score in.

Winner names the charidy, then just trust everyone to donate, each to their own financial ability.

We seem like an honest bunch on here who would remain true to our words.
